Rund 460 Kilogramm: So viel Haushaltsabfall produzieren die Menschen in Deutschland pro Kopf und pro Jahr. Der größte Teil des Abfalls wird recycelt, der Rest energetisch verwertet. Doch Abfälle zu vermeiden ist noch besser. Das schont von Beginn an die Umwelt und die Ressourcen. Was kann man tun, um die Menge der Abfälle zu verringern? Hier sind Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher, aber auch Industrie und Handel gefragt.

Wie lassen sich Menschen von nachhaltigem Konsum überzeugen? Am Beispiel von Schokoriegeln gehen die Schülerinnen und Schüler zunächst den negativen Auswirkungen von Konsum nach. In Gruppen entwickeln sie anschließend eigene Ansätze, wie sie faire und ökologische Produkte bewerben würden. Dabei werden auch Methoden aus dem Marketing vorgestellt.

Die Schülerinnen und Schüler lernen am Beispiel von Schokolade negative Auswirkungen des Konsums kennen, wie den Verlust von tropischen Regenwäldern. Sie setzen sich mit Produktsiegeln auseinander, die helfen, beim Einkauf auf Umweltschutz und Fairness zu achten.

Ils établissent que le coronavirus provient initialement d’animaux. Ils/elles élaborent des approches permettant de réduire les risques de zoonoses.
